super dense, super premium ice cream
Food & Drink
A start up company looking to interrupt the premium ice cream space, with a significant point of difference. The product is aimed at 30-55 year old female shoppers, who love indulgent ice cream, and recognize that with ice cream, density equals high quality!
Other color requirements
Red and Purple
Ice cream is made by blending cream with air. The lower quality ice creams use more air, whilst the higher quality use considerably less air. The name spoonbender represents an ice cream that is literally so dense (and free of air), that it could bend a spoon. Best product reference would be Ben & Jerry's. The brands personality is playful and approachable though the product is authentic and high quality. The overall design will need to stand out from the crowd. I'm attaching a reference document that shows other local premium ice cream brands. I'm looking for a logo that brings the idea to life (i.e. dense ice cream). This could be done by the type treatment, or by the incorporation of other visual elements. However try not to compromise the simplicity and legibility of the main logo (spoonbender). The brief directs to being playful - but don't make too masculine, as 75% of the shoppers in the category of premium ice cream are female. Please note that we want to stand out on shelf and be clearly differentiated to our competitors. As a result I have attached the competitive products, where the market norm is use of black to signify premium. Please ensure that our design and logo will stand out from the crowd! Thanks in advance
