Check out jon.fitch's Logo design contest…
Thai-Chinese International School is a private, preK-12, co-ed, college prep, international day school in the greater Bangkok area. It was founded in 1995. Our graduates attend some of the best universities in U.S., Canada, Europe and Asia. Our point of differentiation is our American curriculum with a focus on tri-lingual education (Thai, Chinese and English) so that our students are prepared to be 21st century citizens. Our target audience: Married males and females Age 25-40 with children who are age 0- 8. Their household size is 2-4. Income is top 20% Ethnicity: Thai, Chinese, Taiwanese Location: Greater Bangkok area Occupation: Professionals, entrepreneurs Value: Chinese language instruction, tri-lingualism, private education, small class sizes, location of school (we're in a suburb of Bangkok)
Other color requirements
Red, white and blue The above are common colors in the Thai, Taiwanese and American flags
Our existing logo is a pink flower with a Chinese symbol overlaid on the flower. The symbol stands for middle. The logo is not evocative of education nor does it convey prestige. Our school suffers from a perception of lack of prestigiousness so want to address that goal. Regarding our name...the Board is interested in transitioning from "Thai-Chinese International School" to using just "TCIS". To support the transition, the logo should include "International School" Key points to consider addressing in logo design: Founded 1995 Chinese, English, Thai Please provide two options of logos (1) with inclusion of flower and Chinese symbol and (2) those without FYI, our competition primarily uses crests (see attached Google slide). See the attached slides for more background information.
