Saving Snoots

Our logo will showcase our animal rescue. The mission of our animal rescue is to rescue animals from inhumane, dangerous, unhealthy or untenable situations.

We need to design a logo that will showcase our rescue. Our rescue is currently named "Second Chances Animal Rescue," a name which we thought made sense for what we were trying to accomplish for the animals. What we found was that many rescues are named Second Chances or Second Chance and it has thus been very difficult for potential adopters, fosters or donors to find us, even when they are looking for us. For this reason, we have decided to change our name to Saving Snoots Animal Rescue. This name is special to us for a few reasons - first, we want to honor our first "snoot," Sir Ignacious Herbert, our first rescue and the dog that inspired it all. His photos are included below and we would love to see him or his likeness incorporated into the logo design in some way. We also have a senior dachshund, Chestnut Fiona AKA "Snoots," who actually inspired the name. We are open to color and themes - this design is going to go into the website design contest we currently have frozen, so looking very much forward to spreading the winner of this design across the rescue world on the internet. We are open to a range of colors - we had gone with yellow for Second Chances, but found that the yellow ended up being limiting despite its sunny nature - so we are open to whatever creative ideas you have. Bear in mind we will be creating merchandise for marketing purchases with whatever colors you recommend. Thank you so much for your interest - we can't wait to see what you come up with!
