A Christian-Based Eating Disorder Treatment Center
Medical & Pharmaceutical
We offer compassionate and comprehensive treatment for those dealing with an eating disorder. We have a residential program, a partial day program and an Intensive outpatient program. (Did you know, Eating Disorders are the deadliest of all psychiatric diagnosis. The mortality rate associated with anorexia nervosa is 12 times higher than the death rate associated with all causes of death for females 15-24 years old. The suicide rate for those with an eating disorder is 50 times higher than in the general population).
Logo types to explore
First, Thanks so much for helping me get rid of our 23 year old logo! It's GOT to go! I'm thrilled that I got approval from the decision makers to get it replaced! Three thoughts to share: 1-We're looking for something that definitely conveys a "canopy". 2-When people look for a treatment center it's REALLY easy for them to get the various centers confused online so we would like a logo that is distinctive and memorable...and different from our competitors. 3-One concern is that the design fit in different mediums such as in a banner ad, stationery etc. (Our current logo is super tall and it has been hard to work with.) Last 2 thoughts..think of them as a Bonus! We've used cursive in the past BUT it has been hard to read so we want a font that is unique and easy to read BUT is still a "softer" font. We're not apposed to cursive...but it doesn't have to be cursive just a softer font. The 2 ideas we've had are: 1- A recognizable "canopy" or an arch of some type (a nature type canopy) examples might include tree limb (s) or an arch as a canopy with leaves or vines?) 2- The next idea is the name with a small bit of a vine on the letter (s) or maybe a single limb over the name (as if it's the canopy) with a vine with new buds on it. Final pearl of wisdom - I'm going to include a page of our competitors logos and fonts so you can see what we need to be different from! Again, you are appreciated for your time and talent!
