Get 9 means get 9 hours of rest/sleep every night—especially important to adolescents whose brains need that to prevent/avert mental illness, reduce risk of drug addictions, poor academics, reduce exposure to bullying via electronic media, and help reduce the risk of metabolic diseases. Get 9 also means using olive oil (omega-9) which protects against many illnesses, and improves health.
Nix 6 is about NOT eating omega-6 fatty acids found in seed oils like corn oil, soybean oil, cottonseed oil, etc. Omega-6's are found in all the evil snack foods and fast foods that kids eat in huge quantities.
