Need a graphic identity for a conference--simple, clean, elegant.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I'm a management consultant who also does seminars, speaking at other conferences, and writing. I'm starting my own conference, called Santo Poco, and I want an identity for it. To see the other logos I've had developed in order to get a sense of what I like, see ReCourses and RockBench. This will be used primarily on a website and in a PDF flyer. In other words, it will not be printed conventionally. I'm looking for a symbol--I'll apply the type. The idea of the conference is for it to have "precious little" (the literal translation of "Santo Poco") organization, but the target market is sophisticated heads of marketing firms (ad agencies, pr firms, graphic designers, interactive, etc.).
- you might want to think of collaboration and learning, since this is a very different conference (less about speakers and more about rubbing shoulders with great attendees)
- anything from the "Three Amigos" movie
- anything that smacks of Spanish and Mexico
- no type treatments, either with the two letters (S and P) or the entire phrase (Santo Poco)
