About us
The logo is for a combination old rustic tavern that is 200 years old that also now serves as an art gallery in a very old tin building. It is a historic tin shack that used to salt cod almost 200 years ago before refrigeration was developed. it is now converted into a tavern and art gallery for local artists. It needs to pay tribute to the history of Gloucester, MA the oldest fishing port in country but have an artistic feel to it.

The logo will also hang outside of the tavern where the gallery 53 sign is (it will replace this sign). So it needs to feel more rustic and historic given how old the building is.
