Dirk & Leathers
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are Dirk & Leathers -- a duo of salty treasure hunters, retired from our adventures, now operating an inn/bar in medieval times (we built a bar for a bachelor party, and this logo is going to be used throughout, on the sign outside and on the glassware, and for one night this will function as a legit bar). Our target audience is a group of late 20s males who grew up playing final fantasy, zelda -- you get it.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?

Like the distinct/clean image plus bold text.
Like: Clean, easily routed into wood and/or etched into glass.
dislike the tiny text. Like the bold text and distinct image.
Our brother has a CNC routing machine, which we'll use to make a full-size sign to hang in front of the bar. We'll also get this etched into beer steins.
Notes about the event, and what we're trying to evoke:
Throughout the day we'll be playing games and trying to evoke classic console and RPG gaming elements (e.g. smashing pots, digging up buried treasure, addressing the wanted posters hanging in the bar, slaying dragons, etc.). Behind the bar will be a prize wall of magic items (blood sword, genji gloves, power belt, etc.) that can be purchased using the coins and rupees collected throughout the day, and which grant special abilities. It's gonna be ridiculous but a ton of fun -- and everything will tie back to the bar: Dirk and Leathers
