tgEa got their new logo design by running a design contest:

Stop the leaks!
Basically a new way to tarp an entire roof with an industrial shrink wrap-type product that you spread out across the roof and then apply heat guns to and it shrinks down and form fits the roof to keep it from leaking, see attached pictures, I had a graphic designer design a logo based on the real picture I also attached. The logo they came up with is a little too busy I want something that conveys the same feel but isn’t as busy, also I want to show more of flat roofing than pitched roofing if possible. I don’t mind showing a small amount of pitched roofing being covered but like the image logo they designed that you see is about 90% pitched rooof and 10% flat roof I’d wrather have some type of roof that is 20% pitched at most and 80% flat. Google “parapet wall” and it will show you the little knee-high walls that are incorporated into commercial flat roofs. That should be able to give some definition and not just a flat surface. Maybe show the shrink wrap covering some parapet walls that run throughout and/or around the perimeter of the roof if possible. Just to give some dimension. You can also see the attached pictures that show the shrink wrapping at the base of an air conditioning unit that sits on top of a flat roof for more ideas. Basically because I want to target commercial flat roofs more than residential pitched roofs. You can get an idea of other images from googling “shrink wrap roof” or “shrink wrap flat roof” and perusing the images. I don’t necessarily need to show the paint rollers either that probably confuses people. I do like what the previous designer did on the right side where it shows the loose un-shrunk piece of shrink wrap that hasn’t had heat applied yet, showing it’s a work in progress. I don’t know if it’s important to show the men actually working or not or one man I did like the ladders. The main thing is it needs to be not too busy but convey the same type message. I’d like it to be relatively easy to get onto embroidery so not tiny intricate details maybe?.. Also I’m not stuck on the colors that 99 designs made me select I would look at reds blues yellows blacks grays you know… I think often times it’s easier to stick with two or three colors so just whatever you think I know yellow is a Construction color and red is kind of a temporary repair color so maybe those two with a gray or a black something like that.
