jon.ransom got their new logo design by running a design contest:
From Roasting Hobby to Online Distribution Across China

Food & Drink
We sell freshly roasted coffee beans on a subscription basis, delivered to our client's doorstep on a weekly basis.
Ransom's Coffee is named after the owner. It does not need any reference to the more sinister meaning of ransom. GOAL: We are looking to portray to our customers that we are craft/artisan, boutique, small batch, quirky and somewhat geeky STYLE: • personable, quirky • clean, simple • think Wes Anderson on a coffee bag IDEAS: including, but not limited to 1. Iconic craft font with coffee icon... but not a kettle please (too much related to tea), 2. We are in China, so perhaps retro revolutionary art indicating the coffee revolution is finally here...(in China that is) 3. Something outside the box (surprise me!) I'm definitely open to something that catches my attention in a new way.

Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
jon.ransom collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
