Rhythm for Good
I run a company (Sound Health Music) that provides Music Therapy and Rhythm-Based Events, but Rhythm for Good is a blog resource for music therapists, drum circle facilitators, and potential customers.
Here's my bio: Kat is a speaker and board-certified music therapist whose passion is achieving therapeutic goals through making music. Simply put, her motto is Be well, feel good, and make MUSIC. With a Masters in Music Therapy from The Florida State University (headquarters for the National Institute for Infant and Child Medical Music Therapy), she holds high standards for scientific research and maintains a practice infused with the latest evidence-based techniques and strategies.
Kat is pleased to be associated with Remo® as an endorsed facilitator. She maintains professional membership in the American Music Therapy Association, Early Childhood Music and Movement Association, and the Drum Circle Facilitators Guild.
Music Therapists, Drum Circle Facilitators, Music-Making enthusiasts
Parents of kids who have special needs, School administrators, Summer camp counselors, staff, and planners
Corporate team-building specialists, HR staff, Event planners, Organizational development specialists
Activities Directors, Recreational therapists, Healthcare administrators, Social workers, Children's hospitals, Medical facilities, Retirement communities
The logo for Rhythm for Good (online resource blog) may complement my local business logo found here: http://SoundHealthMusic.com. (not absolutely required) But I like the shapes and lines in that logo.
The main design color should be RED. Earthy, warm colors are preferred to appeal to drummers.
The design may be crazy, messy, with a Kandinsky feel. I plan to sell boomwhacker music (music for multi-colored musical tubes) for kids, BUT the design must also appeal to adults since many posts and materials are specifically for music therapists who work with adult support groups and drum circle facilitators who use drumming for team-building in corporations.
The design will be used primarily for the online presence, but also I will print the design on egg shakers, similar to this: http://www.RhythmForGood.com/wp-con…akers1.jpg
So, the design should either
1. have option to separate the words (with respective unique font) from the image to print on the shaker OR
2. be simple enough to print the entire design on the shaker.
