About us
We are a private, members-only golf club. Our members will know what our logo stands for and means (which is why we do not need it to be overtly detailed). We are not concerned with how the general public may perceive the logo.

Our panelists have identified the 3 key features of our new logo as an identifiable piece of our castle (not the entire castle), water (because of our proximity to the long island sound) and our 1921 founding year (can appears as 1921, incorporating both 1921 and 2021 tastefully, but do not want "since 1921" or "established 1921" etc. A goal is to have a logo that can be embroidered so too much detail on the "water" aspect can be troublesome. We have uploaded a sketch (we know we are terrible artists, sorry) and a PDF with come concepts here. We have seen a lot of lovely work from the designers who already submitted and would hope that they use pieces of their original work and take our new brief into consideration. Regarding font we are searching for "old time" fonts, fonts that may have been common between 1910 and 1930.
