Restaurant logo needed for DC sandwich shop

the brand is an off-shoot of a restaurant in washington dc currently serving elevated modern American cuisine (and known for its hyperlocal attention to food and sourcing). The vibe of the sandwich shop is more casual, pop-up, outpost-esque. “Really f'ing good sandwiches" is our unofficial slogan. Target audience includes local customers in the DC area ordering from online delivery platforms, those looking for lunch, or a quick dinner or stopping by for something quick to go.

We're open to ideas on the type of logo that’s best for our brand - we want the energy to be cool and playful / energetic (but not childish or kid-looking) - clean, but "lifestyle" focused. The menu will include six sandwiches (this could change over time). A "McReid" (our riff on a McRib), an epic house-ground burger that has become our most popular item over the past 9 months (made with three cuts of beef, on a house made brioche bun), a lobster roll with local baltimore canyon lobster on a house made brioche, a pit beef sandwich and more. The only thing we don't want is for the actual ampersand to precede the name of the brand (IE: we don't like "&ampersandwich" layouts because this would look too similar to a local pizza shop called &pizza ).Thank you!
