ReneeD needed a new logo design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 219 designs submitted by 48 freelance designers.
We need a catchy logo design including all files (vector, psd, pdf, jpg,) to be used for all business correspondence, online and ofline presentations. This logo is for a business dealing with the physical and emotional aspects of a debilitating joint disorder.
We May Bend-But We Won't Be Broken
This logo design is for an organization which deals with the issues of disability, pain management, medical and emotional issues of a disorder which affects the joints as well as the vascular system and other tissue in the body. Although we try to make light of the fact that most of us are double-jointed and very "clutzy", it is a very serious, painful disorder that affects adults and children and causes very early disability and possible sudden death so we don't want to make it seem too humorous or overly depressing. This disorder usually goes mis-diagnosed for years and the people have fought long and hard to find out what is wrong with them. The logo will be used on HTML and PHP/CSS web pages for information sites as well as blogs and forums and all stationary/business cards so we will need all file types. It would be a benefit if the winner can also design/code webpages, as we would like to find someone to work on numerous ongoing projects on many different topics.
- Item 1...A web 2.0 look but nothing too harsh and the colors need to appeal to all.
- Quality and creativity.
- The focus of these programs is going to be on helping people find an accurate diagnosis for their pain and then work on the problems that disability or pending disability brings including many emotional, physical, marital and financial issues. Use your creativity and see what we can come up with.
- Several people will be judging and I will include plenty of constructive feedback. If you have web-design/coding ability please PM me with any references/portfolio or other info. Good Luck to all!!!
- Item 1...Nothing too flowery or too dark and depressing.
- Nothing medical related
