This is a logo for a region on the remote North West Coast of Scotland called Coigach. The logo is for the local Tousist Association as a regional brand to attract more visitors and for use on an online multi media tourist information website. The logo needs to mimic the national tourist service VisitScotland's use of the italic "i" on road signs to indicate tourist information, but does not need to be a copy.
The logo needs to reflect the rugged coastal wilderness of the West Coast and is aimed primarily at the growing market of visitors driving the NC500 route. Coigach is an area just off the route.
The website will be centred around an interactive map with streamable/downloadable media links for walking tours, heritage sites etc.
The logo needs to have an extractable icon that can be used both digitally (social media iconograph etc) and on post markers at site around Coigach to indicate to visitors that online info is available.

I am thinking of the name as logo "iCoigach" with the i reflecting the national use of an italic lower case i to indicate tourist information.
However, there also needs to be an iconograph for use in social media and on the ground info markers.

Please do NOT go with an American Wild West theme. This is not an association we want.
