Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The MPC is the Midwest Podiatry Conference and is an alliance of 13 state podiatry associations. This is strictly a conference and there is no one association that runs it. It is always held in Chicago since the largest attendee base is in Illinois. We do get many attendees from outside of the 13 Midwest states. This year we will be implementing several exciting changes including a general session with a keynote speaker, new sessions on more up-to-date topics outside the medical field (social media, human resources, technology), and hands-on surgical and skills workshops. Bottom line, we are reinventing the conference. We’d like to translate this into a theme that challenges the way people think about our conference. Almost as if to ask our potential attendees, “You think you know MPC? You’ve never seen this MPC." Some of the words/phrases that we’d like this theme to convey (without using these actual words, of course) are: reinvention, outside the box, future of podiatry, proactive, cutting edge, forward thinking. The theme should intrigue people to take a look. We’d like to almost acknowledge the fact that we were not keeping up and are completely overhauling the conference to address that. Other phrases to explore for inspiration include: find your spark, it starts with a spark, igniting the future, and so on.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
*The slogan does not need to be included in the logo design, but can be. We also considered "Spark" as the conference theme and "Igniting the Future" as the slogan. If that fuels any additional creativity, feel free to run with that.
