Great designer! LGriff paid attention to the design brief and feedback to create just exactly the kind of design we were looking for! When other designers were missing the mark LGriff hit it right on!
Ajohns21 has been great to work with! He contributed many great designs and was very responsive with changes. Handover was also smooth and easy. I also offered to buy his designs that did not win the contest and he was most accommodating. I am sure I will work with this designer again!

How mattdod started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Dr. Garner's Vision Center
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Optometrist (Eye Doctor) office that is locally owned and has been established for nearly 50 years in the community. The office sells eyeglasses/ lenses and contact lenses as well as provide patient care. New (and much younger) owner that is hoping to maintain current patients as well as generate new patients. Target population is very broad, so needs to be appealing to young families without driving away an older patient (ie. too modern). Wanting Refreshing without too modern or too medical feeling of a look.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Ok to use a eyeball or glasses logo as long as it is presented in a newer/refreshing way. One example on a eye type logo I do not like is http://www.berryeyecare.com/ also a few I do NOT like on 99 designs instant logos "Optometrist" "eye eagle logo" and "Blue eye"
Also, please stay away from color combinations "royal blue/ Kelly green" and "Red/black" Orange would be nice to incorporate in some way; however does not have to be.
The office has been in the area since 1965, so incorporating that into the logo would be nice. There is a logo called eye target by "webtea" that I have seen on 99designs and sorta like that. Would like a fresh feel without being too modern and not too medically oriented.
