How eric tP started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
What’s your company slogan?
"Mission – Tacos & Tequila”, or “Mission – Tequila y Comida “
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Mission is a restaurant that has been open for almost 10 years. Over that time we have evolved from a lounge feel to more of a specialty tequila bar – we now have a selection of over 125 different types. We are also proud of our food menu and think we have some of the best tacos around. It is a neighborhood place that caters to families during the day, but becomes more of a bar at night and on weekends.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
This project is a logo “refresh” for an existing restaurant (http://www.missionbar.com). We would like to re-brand from the current “Mission – Latin Restaurant & Lounge” to either: “Mission – Tacos & Tequila”, or “Mission – Tequila y Comida “
The word Mission should remain in the current font “Circus Ornate” and any other text should be in the “Centaur” font
The current line work around the logo can be incorporated, but should be paired down. We are looking for a badge, or label, type logo that incorporates the leaves from an Agave Cactus combined with aspects of an Antique Lock.
You can see some pictures of our restaurant at http://www.missionbar.com/gallery/
We are leaning toward a retro and decorative feel, reminiscent of an label from an old tequila bottle. However we are open to other suggestions.
It should be able to be easily incorporated into website, advertising, and merchandise also translate effectively into grayscale. The winning design will need to provide a .eps layered file with all design aspects in vector format.
