Community & Non-Profit
We are a university research centre that works with people with disabilities, their families, service providers, non-governmental organizations, and governments to improve the lives of people with disabilities. Our work touches the health, education, livelihood, social, and empowerment sectors. The major components of our centre are: - Teaching : We train graduate students in rehabilitation science and community-based rehabilitation. Many of our students are disability leaders from developing countries. - Research: We conduct research on community-based rehabilitation and identify and test interventions for improving the situations of people with disabilities and their families. - Service: We implement large international development projects in developing (low/middle income) countries - these projects generally involve capacity building of local communities; support in public policy creation, implementation, and improvement; and ensuring that people with disabilities (particularly women and girls) are included in mainstream society.
Other color requirements
Not necessarily but perhaps integrate with Queen's University colors? (red/gold/blue)
We are located within the School of Rehabilitation Therapy at Queen's University. Our website is here: http://rehab.queensu.ca/icacbr/home As much as possible, we focus on the importance of having people with disabilities and families as the leaders and experts in their home communities and us as a temporary support.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $299.
