One of the best designers on 99. In fact, one of the most talented designers I've worked with. He worked hard to hit a tight deadline for me. Looking forward to the next gig (hopefully with more time!).
How DIYhomevalue started their logo design journey
DIY home value
Our web site http://www.realestatetalk.com.au is promoted on Australia's leading real-estate portals and our radio show is broadcast every week. As part of a new service, we are inviting home sellers, home buyers or anyone interested in house prices to complete a short form and get free property data access.
Whilst in the data system they can accurately price their own home (or any home). It's quick, it's simple and it's free. Please visit the site and see what we have done to-date. As part of a large launch campaign planned in August, we want a professionally designed logo that we can use on web sites such as http://www.domain.com.au and realestate.com.au.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
These are people interested in house prices. Many service providers charge $200 or more for access to the data we are offering for free.
1. We would like a logo that uses the same blue as the REUNCUT logo: http://www.reuncut.com. But you can add a splash of other colours such as red if you wish.
2. It needs to work like the one we have now on http://www.realestatetalk.com.au. A 250 px x 250 px version will be the main design. We also want to be able to use a rather small version with a simple and direct message like those seen under 'Special Offers' on http://www.domain.com.au/?mode=buy. A small icon based house image should be fine, allowing us to add a text line as needed. An example of a stock image is attached that provides a good example.
3. The logo should include the line DIY home value.
4. We will likely need to change a tag-line from time to time or for different situations. We like "Price your home today - it's free", but you might have a few suggestions of your own. Animated GIF versions will be used.
