LearnSquad
LearnSquad is an online training website that offers video-based instructor-led courses (primarily on technology topics, such as programming, design, and mobile app development). The site will allow users to browse a vast collection of "movies", interact with instructors and other users, and author and upload training courses.
Initially, the audience will be technology professionals (programmers, designers, etc.). This will eventually grow into other "channels".
We need a bold an innovative logo to immediately convey online video-based education. Think YouTube, Vimeo, and Hulu but 100% training content. With respect to the site layout itself, we like the look-and-feel of sites like KickStarter.com, 99designs.com, and apple.com. I mention these not to suggest that the logo you design should look like theirs, but only to say that the web site we create will have similar Web 2.0 design treatments, and your logo should fit that framework.
Your design will influence everything from the icons to the marketing material. So please make it awesome. Since we intend to use the logo in both marketing materials and the application icon, we need the artwork delivered in a layered vector format.
