Responded promptly -- very professional -- takes direction well. His design was a subtle/interesting interpretation of my brand's mission. Highly recommend working with them!
Loved working with Betty! 2nd book cover she's done for me and if there is a 3rd, she will be the only designer I need to contact
How queercoffeeco started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Queer coffee is a novelty coffee company. We source high-quality coffee beans, market them with fun and catchy branding, and support LGBTQ+ nonprofits.
Our tone is inclusive and fun, although dead serious about coffee culture. We combine the bright color palette of the rainbow flag with the muted and sometimes edgy tone of coffee and coffee shops. Queer Coffee is visibly and unabashedly LGBTQ+, but not necessarily flamboyant or frivolous.
When someone first purchases this coffee, it will most likely be as a novelty for themselves or as a gift for someone else. Still, they'll find really good coffee in the bag and know that a community-minded company stands behind it.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
We haven't yet decided if our coffee bags will be brown or red, nor whether our coffee bag labels will be white, transparent, or colored. The logo will need to look good on any of these options.

Red works well in sales.
I appreciate how the green "pops" and it's playful.
I appreciate the warm, muted colors here.
These colors are fun and it makes the product obvious.
I appreciate the colorful, nearly rainbow colors here.
A part of me really likes the sophisticated style here.
I like the deep color here as well as the fun in how the cow is placed/shaped.
These colors and the texture fit the coffee side of our business.
This logo needs to fit on a vertical coffee bag, so even if the logo is itself horizontal, it needs to be visible, obvious, even bold. It will be given the most space on the bag sticker, so it can't be too skinny from top to bottom.
