alfonze got their new logo design by running a design contest:

Engage your team
The product is an app for bar/restaurant owners and managers. It gamifies management like like a life tracking app (e.g. Lifesum) for your establishment. The app has the following main features: 1) Review last week's sales performance 2) set a goal for this week's sales performance 3) engage staff through competitions or team incentives 4) we give actionable recommendations from data The name "castable" is meant to refer to the fact that the product makes business forecasts, but also want customers to think of us as helping them "cast for a big catch." It's kind of a play on words with a double meaning.
Other color requirements

Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
alfonze collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.

And then… they selected a winner!
Firsada is a skilful designer with an equally impressive work ethic. What separated Firsada from other designers was his preference to pursue a unique logo. Originality is always appreciated when in search of a logo, and I feel Firsada did a great job delivering such a logo, through revisions and hard work.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
