taylorjhood got their new logo design by running a design contest:

come to play...
It is a hunting property in middle Tennessee. Named after my first dog, a black lab named "Lucille/Lucy" who is close to taking the "long walk home". Want to name the property in her honor. Target audience would be young adults.
Design should be pretty simple. Something easily embroidered on a hat or shirts. Something that can be made large for a big metal gate sign, or something that can be on the sleeve of a golf shirt. My initial thoughts were the silhouette or side view of the head/shoulders or body of a black lab with the words on either top and bottom or along bottom. If there is some interesting way to incorporate "Lucy" or "Lucille" hidden in the collar or somewhere that would be great but understand that would make it difficult to make small enough to embroider. Would like a rustic outdoor theme for the ranch. Maybe a rustic font? Also, my dog has a white cross on her chest in her hair. Not sure if we are able to incorporate that but just in case. The logo attached here was a rudimentary google search of "black dog logo". Obviously not the one below but something along those lines would be good. Or even just the shoulders up instead of the whole body. Our collars on the dogs are all red just like in this logo. If we can keep that it would be great. We are also all from Texas, including the dog, so if we could fit a single star somewhere in the logo it would be good (Lone Star State). Or something eluding to Texas. Also a big fan of barbed wire.
