Brick Road got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Project 41 - our boutique cafe needs a face!

Food & Drink
Project 41 is a cafe specializing in boutique small batch coffee, freshly baked products and a salad and hot sandwich bar.
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors: Let designers make suggestions:
We are open to all ideas and colour schemes at this stage. The design of the shop will be open, light, high ceilings, polished concrete floors, timber benches and tabletops, with the addition of a green wall and a possible graffiti feature wall. The finish will be high end so we want the logo to look smart and be easily recognisable. The logo will be painted onto a large concrete wall (kept light grey natural) with glass interface. It will also go onto coffee cups and takeaway disposables, and possibly be printed onto t-shirts. We are open to the 41 being written or numerical. We are open to different looks for the branding - for example the graphic for the coffee cups could just be P41. I have a pinterest page with fitout design ideas - https://www.pinterest.com/stefanblee/cafe-ideas/ Hopefully this can help as well. We look forward to seeing what will come of this! There will be likely ongoing work with the successful designer, such as menu design, business cards, website, stickers etc. The successful design will need to be used in Microsoft word and publisher so will need to be compatible.

This was an amazing experience!! Green in blue listened to all my weird requests and was incredibly patient. She was able to put together a logo and brand that I am extremely happy with. The logo is exactly what I envisioned. I couldn't be happier with the final product!!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
