***addition: some of my favorite designs have taken a nod to my writing (from crumpled paper texture as the background, incorporating a book into my initials, etc). Would love to see red line edits through words, things like that--the real writing process! scribbles, a flashing cursor, ink blots from quill pens, (or, my name even written old school with ink blots).
I love minimalist but clever. Memorable. I'm a history professor turned writer--so any nod towards American history gets me but certainly not necessary.
Minimal, clean, impactful. Black and white.
I also have my phD so if you want to play around with ph.D. in the logo, feel free to do so! (Also, krichbaum means cherry tree in german) [Maybe the letters PhD wrapped in the cherry?] I don’t want my logo to look school-like, elementary school teacher with an apple-type logo. Instead, I’d like to somehow portray that my knowledge of the classics, love of words, etc can translate to really good writing for corporations, businesses, etc.
I'd like to somehow emphasize that I can write for anyone, anything, anywhere.
