We will be redesigning our website, so the logo does not need to fit into the existing site’s architecture, http://www.ashaweb.org.
School Health Action does not currently have a color palette, thus we are open to new color ideas. We like the idea of using a spectrum of primary colors in the logo – however, the logo still needs to look clean and professional.
The logo needs to evoke a sense of fun and play (while maintaining professionalism) – but keep in mind that our organization is for professionals in a Kindergarten through 12th grade system (5 years old to 18 years old). Be careful not to cater the logo too much towards elementary schools (age 5-11), keep the professionals who work with older students in mind.
A knowledge/learning theme would work well for the logo.
We want the logo to be warm and inviting to make the School Health Action brand seem like a welcoming and friendly organization that puts the wellness of students first. We are open to using figures of children in the logo, but it is not a requirement. The NCSEA logo provided is a good example of a fun and lively, yet professional logo, that caters to professionals who work with children. Although we like this concept, we do not want an exact replica of the design.
