Our organisations full name is the Australian & New Zealand Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (ANZAOMS).
We are the professional association for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in Australia and New Zealand. Our target market is our members (surgeons in Aust and NZ), the public who may need the services of an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, dentists and general practitioners who may refer patients to an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.

We are looking for something more modern/contemporary than our current logo (attached). We are an Australian and New Zealand professional association for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, so would like to incorporate something like the Southern Cross that acknowledges our Australian and New Zealand heritage. The acronym for our association is ANZAOMS which may be more usable than the full name of the association. Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons perform surgery of the mouth, jaw and skull and have studied both dentistry and medicine. The website for our Association is http://www.anzaoms.org Trust and professionalism are important traits to convey in our logo.
