Who are you known as?

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a small private specialised skin clinic in Australia, where we primarily diagnose and treat skin cancers. Patients range from children to adults in their 90s, although our largest demographic is men and women in the 30-70 age range. Patients can come directly to us without a referral and our main competition is other similar clinics in the vicinity as well as the local hospital. We offer a value-for-money, high quality service that is well regarded in the community. This is a new location and rebranding of existing doctors and we need a fresh new look that is clean and clinical whilst at the same time feels inviting and trustworthy. The other aspect of our clinic is facial cosmetic surgery - which accounts for about 30% of the business. The demographic of the target audience for this aspect is generally women aged 25-65, although we do not want anything too blatantly feminine as a fair proportion of our clients are male. Our doctors are valued for their friendly and down to earth approach and we would like the logo to reflect this, but at the same time look luxurious and elegant.

Some of our competitors use a sunshine emblem in their logo, which we would like to avoid. We would like the emphasis of the logo to be on the words "Skin Clinic" rather than "The Richmond" as we would like this part to be highly visible on our signage. The logo needs to look good in B&W as well as colour.
