Our business is primarily selling self defense & survival equipment including but not limited to: firearms, ammunition, survival food, shooting targets, firearms accessories, first aid supplies, etc. Our "target audience" will be gun enthusiasts, survivalists, and people who are into preparedness (ie. "preppers" such as on the popular TV show Doomsday Preppers")

We are not fixed on any particular logo scheme, design, color, etc. Please be creative!!! We will be responsive throughout the contest letting everyone know what we like and do not like. We intend to provide feedback promptly and give direction and guidance whenever possible. Our business is a specialty gun shop that also sells a variety of related products including survival gear, ammo, medical supplies, shooting targets, etc. We plan on starting out our business as an internet based business, however, we may expand to a brick & mortar store sometime in the future if we are successful. If you aren't sure what "prepper" means, it's basically a term for people who believe there is some impending disaster (ie: financial collapse) and are currently preparing for the worst by collecting backup food stores, water, guns, ammo, medical supplies, etc. Some of the cooler themes associated with the "prepper" term are gas masks, which is why we included some picture examples of some. Other cool/fun "prepper" stuff to possibly consider using in a potential logo include: radiation symbols (basically some preppers are afraid of nuclear war), zombies, high capacity magazines/drums, assault rifles, ammunition, etc. Also if guns are to be incorporated in the logo we prefer tactical, AR/military style guns opposed to a bolt-action hunting rifle for example.
