Prayer Gateway is a new service we're launching for religious groups & organizations.
Desired Color Scheme:
Partial to Blue/Green but am open to other ideas
Accepted File Formats:
Vector, JPG, & original file
Prayer Gateway is a web-based service that allows people to log in and share prayers with their private groups.
I'm looking for a nice, clean logo that will set the stage for the website and web-app to be built.
Inspiration: I don't have any specific logos that I love but some websites I really like are http://www.campaignmonitor.com, http://www.basecamphq.com, http://www.interspire.com (above the fold). The first 2 to a great job of selling their product. Very clean color scheme, simple, and direct.
I want this logo to look clean, new and "refreshing". I'm not really looking for traditional & "stuffy" Christian concepts. I'm not against the idea of using a cross, halo, sunshine, etc. but it must be done well. Again "refreshing" is a word that comes to mind.
Judging by the entries I see so far:
At this point I prefer the look of the text (Prayer Gateway) with a small icon near it, or integrated in a creative way. Rather than an icon that engulfs the whole logo or is too big. (Someone might surprise me on this but that's my opinion as of now)
Again, I'd like to see logos that are simple, creative, and refreshing. Simple as opposed to "plain" (I know that's a difficult balance.)
I want this logo to set a positive, light, comfortable, "happy" tone-- please don't confuse this with a tye-dye'd clown on prozak! I'm just saying that some lighter, brighter colors integrated tastefully with darker ones might be a nice contrast. I am partial to Blue/Green but am open to other ideas.
This new service will allow GROUPS of people to share their prayers with eachother; so it's (obvious) main focus is to help people communicate. Perhaps this concept can be represented somehow in the logo? It's not a requirement, just an idea!
I would like the winning design to be submitted as a vector & JPG (for web use). Also i'd like the original file (PSD?) in case we want to edit down the road.
I'm excited to see your ideas.
