The photo attached is from the recent Reader's Digest magazine (April 2011). It is a porcupine of a building designed by British designer Thomas Heaterwick at Exop 2010 Shanghai, China, known as the Seed Cathedral. We like the image because it looks like data points coming out which conveys data, knowledge and power.
We definitely want the company name Plehn Analytics on the logo.
Besides the logo, we also want you to show us a picture you draw or take which inspires you for the logo design. We will have the exclusive rights to use this photo as well.
This is a business to business company. The Company’s target market consists of banks (commercial banks and savings institutions), Hedge funds / Mutual funds, Credit card companies, Private equity investors, Insurance companies, Asset managers, Commercial real estate developers, Retailers, Chambers of commerce / economic development offices, Consultants.
The Slogan of the company is "Can you risk using low quality data?". You can keep it in mind for the design concept but we don't want it to be incorporated in the logo.
