How Devin of TWL started their logo design journey
Travel. Write. Live.
This is my baby and I am really excited about it. I have been running a successful online magazine called In The Know Traveler for the last four years and wanted to branch out in the broader philosophy of travel.
While this is just for one logo, I hope to use the designer for future work as well as I will additional logos for related projects. I look forward to seeing your work.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
My audience will like come, in part, from my other site, http://intheknowtraveler.com (I am not looking for a variation of this logo), and people interested in travel coming from all walks of life, and my blog will discuss a wide variety of travel related themes, including travel writing.
I get a lot of traffic at ITKT and plan on marketing the heck out of Travel. Write. Live.
Please do check out my upcoming web site, http://travelwritelive.com, to get an idea of style. The site is in the design phase, but should not change much from what is there now. Note the rollovers work. Also note that the "Travel. Write. Live." placeholder (gray, in the upper left) does not necessarily reflect what I want. Feel free to be creative and words can be stacked or placed side by side or something completely different. As long as it is fantastic.
Please note that the tag line, "Because we should know each other," may or may not be included in the logo.
My web designer tells me that she needs a "Layered Photoshop file or Illustrator file," and should have a resolution of at least 300dpi.
