Playful, professional and personable logo needed for dog agility training business

Pawticular Training

Pawticular Training was founded back in 2013. I didn’t have the time to put into the business side of it then, but my passion for training dogs kindly grew. I wanted to ensure that the dogs were having fun. The training is all reward based and that makes it so much more fun for the owners as well.

Training is offered to people just wanting to have some fun with a pet dog, right up to people competing at a higher level. The aim is to provide a friendly atmosphere in which everyone feels that they are always achieving and growing in their partnership. So many trainers and their clubs become cliquey and I want to provide an environment where this doesn’t happen, where anybody feels welcome regardless of age or ability.

So, the emphasis is always on the word FUN. That’s how I want my logo to come across, but I also want it to look professional and smart too. I’ve not got something dead set in my mind, but I will know when I see what I’m after!

The pictures that I have uploaded are all of my dogs doing agility. It would be amazing if one or more of them could in some way be incorporated into the logo. The dog in the image doesn’t necessarily have to be doing agility, although it must at least look happy!

Agility is where dogs jump over jumps, weave through weave poles, go through tunnels etc against the clock..

The agility obstacles at my field are lime green, pink and purple, so I would like 2 or 3 of those colours within the logo, but not so pink that it looks too girly.

Ultimately, it will also be put on clothing etc, so needs to be fairly versatile.

GOAL: Wanting to develop a fun character or pictorial style logo that is personable, playful & clean in aesthetic, but equally shows to our clients we are a professional service for humans and their dogs :-)

IDEAS:
• Character logo
- Would be great to explore a character style logo. I have some images of my dogs for inspiration. It would be nice if they could be represented within the design. Look toward Big Kid and Feed the Beast for style reference.

• Pictorial mark
– Happy to explore the use of clean & personable icon that communicates our dog training service. Could be something like the Prickle Pear logo above, where it's incorporated in the text or it could be more intelligent design like Hart & Hounds.

PLEASE NOTE: the attached photos are NOT allowed to be used for commercial stuff, they are there to give you an idea of what my dogs look like. But it would be amazing if my dogs themselves could be a part of the logo (i.e same markings, shape, expression) etc, but as more of a character :)
