Meeting Professionals International (MPI) Netherlands is the dutch chapter of the one of the most vibrant communities in the meeting and event industry. Each year our dutch members of MPI come together at the NLConference - a disruptive event seeking out new and experimental way people interact with each other.
The team resonsible for this years event shook the industry last year with their outspoken approach. New year - new people to shake up! Last year we set out to evoke a [R]evolution, this year we believe it's all about stepping up to the plate. We believe it takes guts to do something different, to say no to the way things were. Hence the birth of this years theme: >>>> LEF. <<<<< (translation: guts!)
So instead of going at the designs alone, we are looking at the 99design community to help us with a kick start!
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The target audience is a defined group of individuals, based on two sides of a spectrum. On one side planners and the other side suppliers. Let me clarify - planners are those responsible for the production of a event, conference, awardshow, expo - they represent either a corporation (marketing- and productmanagers), govermental organisation or an agency. Suppliers vary from venues, catering and AV companies, and more....
The audience however does not have to define the logo - the content and the idea of disruptive, remarkable and less ordinary should define the overall look & feel.
The logo is short and sweet and consists of three letters and a period.

The conference we are staging is fastpaced and highly entertaining. And remember that the translation of LEF in english is 'guts' 'taking a risk' 'going you own way'.
