How Ralphie B. started their logo design journey
I am a partner with the New Day Media Group. We locate companies looking for website design and creation and guide them through the process. We focus on urban entrepreneurs that want something that attracts a youthful audience but still looks professional.
Our client the "Imaginary Playaz" are a Philadelphia Based Radio Station that discusses both Philadelphia Sports like the Eagles, Phillies, Flyers and Sixers and also national events. The Imaginary Playaz consist of three guys and the information is themed for an urban or hip hop audience. The site will host blogs, the weekly sports show, other media and previous shows. The site will have content for the entire country but is definitely based around the Philadelphia area. Also the site creates parody songs of big sports news so there is definitely a humorous theme to the site.
"Imaginary Playaz is the place where Sports, Pop Culture and Hip Hop collide. We believe deep inside us all there is an imaginary expert on evey subject, right or wrong. Each week we aim to bring the conversations from the barbershops and bars right into your living room. Tune in to http://www.voltaradio.com every Thursday from 8-10pm for The realest sports show around."
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
internet users, young, urban, hip-hop. Philadelphia, sports savvy, they are looking to hear in depth conversations in a humorous way.
-the text 'Imaginary Playaz' should be in the logo
-maybe include some element of Philadelphia culture
-maybe include the shadows of the three guys
-maybe some kind of urban theme
-The client imagines something like " three silhouttes each carrying a piece of spots equipment and looking like superheroes. Below is a head that is daydreaming the 3 characters."
-Client is still open to another design idea that brings the imaginary sports expert or player out of the everyday man
-no pictures in the background
-should be all graphics based
