Parlor's got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Parlor's Handcrafted Ice Creams needs a simple and classic logo

Food & Drink
For ice cream lovers who are looking for a classic ice cream experience, Parlor's Handcrafted Ice Creams is an ice cream shop that scoops the most honest ice cream in town. Unlike other ice cream and dessert spots, Parlor's Handcrafted Ice Creams focuses on nostalgic flavors using local and organic ingredients and sustainable practices to make the best tasting ice cream you can find. Our target audience is everyone who loves ice cream, but more specifically, families, high school students, college students, young professionals, and foodies - especially those that like to post their food on social media.
We would like "Parlor's" to be the main focus of the logo and "Handcrafted Ice Creams" as a secondary part of the logo (maybe in a different or smaller font). Our vision is that "Parlor's" would be in a somewhat unique scripted font, whereas "Handcrafted Ice Creams" is in more of a simple font like Arial or Helvetica. We would like our logo to be classic with a modern touch. If we could incorporate the rough shape of an ice cream cone within the logo, that would be great. We'd like to evoke nostalgia, simplicity, and quality. We don't like ice cream logos that use a lot of color and look cheesy or dated. We're looking for simple shapes and minimal color. I've attached a rough sketch of a logo we've come up with but you do not have to use this design, just use it as inspiration. For colors, we like darker blues, light neutrals, and dark neutrals. We've considered an accent color like yellow or gold when using blue, but are open to creative opinion. Side note: we are starting off as a mobile scoop cart but have plans in the future to open a brick-and-mortar. We are very open to ideas, so use all of this information as inspiration, not limits. Thank you!
