packmule helps travellers share their unused luggage space with people who need stuff delivered. Example: Pablo has just moved to college in San Francisco and has realized that he has forgotten to bring his laptop from his hometown in Bogota. His parents are not coming to visit anytime soon and he needs his laptop delivered to him. Commercial shipping is very expensive so he needs an alternative. Maria is going to visit San Francisco for the first time, she lives in Bogota and could earn some extra cash to spend in San Francisco. Maria inputs her trip to Packmule and while browsing the site Pablo submits her an offer to bring his laptop to San Francisco. Maria has excess luggage space so she accepts the offer. She arrives at San Francisco where Maria and Pablo meet, after delivering the laptop they go for a coffee together. Not only have they both benefited from the transaction, they both have developed a new friendship. packmule's target audience are twofold. 1. People who are planning to travel and want to make some extra cash delivering stuff. 2. People who want stuff delivered to them.
Logo types to explore
Packmule is a startup that intends to disrupt the shipping industry by building a trust-based network of people delivering things for each other, from town to town, interstate and across the globe. We envisage a logo that speaks to women through font and colour choices, but at the same time, is not intimidating to men. It should say that packmule is trustworthy, fun, thrifty and useful and cool. UPDATE: After reading some comments, we have decided it is ok if you incorporate a pictorial mark in the logo. It can be a mule, but does not need to be. We are really excited to see your ideas so please get creative. Important: Please write packmule as all lowercase in the logo. Packmule is proud to be a part of the sharing economy.
