Entertainment & The Arts
Dreamseed is a platform, a stage, a canvas, a meeting space, ceremonial space, a gallery of talent, a microphone for voices yet unheard. It is a place to learn, and to teach, or to learn how to teach. To get to know what one is capable of, and discover how to support oneself by doing what comes naturally and freely. It is also a place to remember how to play, even when doing very serious inner work. There is a metaphysical foundation to this arts organization which I want reflected in the logo. It's based on sacred geometry and the numerological components of these shapes have been carefully correlated to the structure of what is being developed on the land. Dreamseed is an arts organization and retreat facility located in the Pacific Northwest on five acres of mostly forested land. We host workshops on a variety of art, healing and permaculture topics, as well as plant medicine retreats and other self-exploration experiences. The target audience is spiritually-inclined people in the age range of 18-75 who want to explore their creativity, learn to grow food, heal and nurture themselves, and give back to the planet. Dreamseed will eventually be reaching out to small local companies that want to host retreats for their employees and also offering the facility as a venue for weddings and other group events.
Other color requirements
I am attaching a file with a suggested color palette, which includes these colors: f15d4a 0a99a6 4e6c2d 432a17 fab205 5e527d 344a1b 671313 I am not attached to these specifically, but would like to ask that all linework be done in dark brown rather than black. In the .jpg file with my mockup of the glyph portion of the logo, the colors on the left are the ones I definitely want to see in the logo somewhere, and the ones on the right would be supporting colors if needed. These colors are also shown in the Pinterest board I linked to. Maybe a pastel palette made from these colors would be best for the logo?

And then… they selected a winner!
Zen Zai was a real pleasure to work with! They hit the design I was looking for immediately. Their adjustments were just as top-notch. I would happily work with them again and highly recommend their skills.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
