Logosquare was great to work with. Their response was timely and their ability to listen and produce what was asked for was on point. I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again.
How kaiyzen started their logo design journey
Our team has written some software that we will be open sourcing and creating a project out of. We need a new logo/font for Reactor8.
Reactor8 - Bringing together developers, operations and best practices
Our project enables developers and operations folks to work together in a frictionless manner to get projects completed and deployed ASAP. We liked the concept of being a nuclear reactor for development teams. Eight has symbolism around new beginnings, we are targeting development teams that are building next generation web applications.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are targeting web application developers and IT operation staffs.., so techy gear-head type people. We are also targeting large enterprises so we do not want anything too cheezy/cartoony
We want a modern looking font/icon without being over the top. Projects like this always morph as submissions roll in but initial ideas we are picturing are a font with capital 'R' and the trailing 8:
Possibly with the 8 slanted to give it some motion, and slightly resemble infinity as 8 also symbolises. We also use R8 as an abreviation so we will also use the R and whatever the 8 is together by themselves
For a leading icon initially we are picturing something along the lines of a little nuclear reactor silo cooling tower with some design on it possibly. Some team members also tossed out the idea of atomic symbol/icon
For colors we are not too tied to anything in particular for schemes. First ones thrown out by the team were greys/reds/blacks/oranges/yellow, but again, we are not tied to anything in particular.
