We are reading all the comments. And we are doing our best.

Please also know we are looking at all the designs--overwhelming as that may be. We still have yet to see an iconic image / idea / symbol that really moves us other than the circle. We would love to see more ideas. And we'd also love to see a circle design that would shake the world.

The ratings are just one or two people's intuition of the moment. The final design will be chosen by a larger group. Be kind, everyone. This is hard!

Know that if you're thinking hard about what to design, putting in hours to make it hot and alive, and submitting it here, we are looking at your work, thinking about it, and engaging with it as honestly as we can.

We our a group of artists too. And we believe artists are going to lead the way to the new world. We are with you.

    In solidarity,
    The Occupy.com Team

@ pampa...I am not into slamming other designers or CH's, but #1336 is pretty poor. Maybe it reminds the CH of an old donut he had while protesting.

At least there are quite a few decent designs with ratings.

question: is the occupy movement anyhow related to 99 designs, because i see some submisions that incorporate 99. did i get it wrong, or have they got it wrong?

@rambo4u - I could say the same for entries by many 'professionals', the logos look, well, just like logos! Slick, clean, and er professionally corporate - summat that the whole Occupy thing is anti..h'mmm conundrum! Any amateur(in any field) can , and often does, bring a completely off-the-wall idea to the fore, something that doesn't play-by-the-rules. I'll rather page thru hundreds of amateur submissions rather than a handful of mediocre logo-by-numbers.

The problem with design sites like these is that there is no barometer to measure skill level i.e.prevent newbies with no experience from entering. #4869 is clearly a newbie and ought not to be taking part in any contest until he or she can improve their skills
