Food & Drink
In 1855, pioneer colonial scientist, artist, and musician, Silvester Diggles arrived at the remote outpost of Brisbane, Australia, population 3000 - and the first thing he did upon his arrival was enjoy a traditionally brewed English ale. Brisbane, 160 years later, population 2.3 million - and his direct descendants are brewing the finest traditional English style ales in tiny batches for fresh local consumption. Our traditional English ales reflect the historical and pioneering atmosphere of the Brisbane area - when the river was blue, the buildings were small, and the streets were dirt. We are looking for a design that captures the colonial history of the Brisbane area and which communicates the traditional, high-quality, and boutique nature of our product, incorporating the look and feel of the literature, sketches and paintings completed by Silvester Diggles and others at the time. Our beer appeals to those with mature palates, with great depth of flavour but always well balanced and highly drinkable in quieter, more comfortable surroundings. Beer connoisseurs appreciate the unique subtleties and balance of a traditional style while less avid consumers enjoy the fresh and simply-drinkable nature of the brew, and the regional historical ambience that the name, product, and logo represents.
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors: Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication. Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty. Purples: Imagination, spirituality, royalty and luxury.
