About us

HJWL (Holland Junior Welfare League) is nonprofit, organized by a group of local women, ages 23-45, who volunteer time and money to give back to programs that support at-risk kids in Holland, Michigan. We are somewhat like a young professionals group, but all women with the mission of helping kids.

We would like... - a NEW FONT to freshen the logo up. Something with character and would match the straight and round lines of the tulip shape. We do not like the current font at all. Very open to different fonts. Open to handwritten with a combo of modern straight thin lines or traditional. - to keep artwork of the red & blue tulip & same colors (red and blue) *See attachment of my hand-drawn layout idea and. (the circle is where the tulip would go)

Overal logo reminds on neuron brain connections and its fitted into hexagonal/cube shape which is vrsatile enough to be used with horizontal or vertical layout and will look great standalone as avatar. Lettering is clear, bold and customised, and though only two colors are used, design look just as good in monochrome.
