NextGen VIT (check out http://www.nextgenvit.com)
Spankin' new company, NextGen VIT (cultivating successfully in Wine 2.0), is a business and technical services consulting company based in the Napa Valley offering a very unique service: helping winegrowers become more successful through the application of sound business practices and web- and wireless-based technology.
I'm using Worldpress on my website - check it out - and am totally psyched as just purchased the super duper Thesis WP template .. working like crazy to get rev 2 of site live hopefully with YOUR logo! :)
NextGen VIT target audience is winegrowners: winery- and family-run vineyard operations as well as vineyard management companies and wineries.
Farming operations that often run by older folk who were not brought up in the digital age or folks who were not exposed to business principles and technical solutions when they got their Enology or Viticulture degrees ... hence they're vastly unprepared and ill-equipped to embrace mission-critical sound business practices and wireless and web-based technologies.
However the answer to the inevitable question "how on earth do we afford all this stuff?" is "if you want to be in business for the next generation, you can't afford not to."
Kick-ass logo matching kick-ass biz concept: i.e., a logo that ties wine growing with the technical stuff we're going to be helping folks leverage to not only grow better wine grapes but to save heaps of cold hard cash by being more efficient and attract new clients, enhance existing customer loyalty, and solidify their reputations as next-generation winegrowers.
With that said, I do not want something corny, like a row of vines in a computer monitor, nor do I want something cartoonish like a picture of a goofy farmer, i.e., no clip art please.
Rather I want something grown up, sophisticated in its simplicity, and uniquely innovative. I also am a huge believer in sustainable and organic farming so I am lending towards the green color palette. In closing, when prospects come to my website or see my biz identify for the 1st time, I want them to think 'wow, that's a really kewl logo.'
Per the usual, we need logo files for use in both print and on web:
Print file format - .ai (CMYK)
Web file format - .jpg and layered .psd (RGB)
Not attaching sample files of what I like and don't like & not asking that you check out the competition (b/c no one else is in this new consulting space) as I want you to think out of the box.
BUT HAVE ATTACHED SOME FUTURISTIC FONTS ... PERHAPS 1ST ONE BUT REPLACE SQUARES WITH CIRCLES TO REPRESENT GRAPES.
Given I'm on 99 designs, I don't have to say "be creative!" but I would like you to have fun with it! Many thanks.
p.s. winning designer to also receive bottle of Napa cab!! :)
