slatouC got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Next Gen Young Professionals

Community & Non-Profit
The Westfield Young Professionals Council, a Council of the Westfield Chamber of Commerce, connects ambitious, visionary young professionals with a robust and diverse network of peers, mentors, and regional business and civic leaders. Home to an estimated 94,000 young professionals (ages 18-40) working in various industries and environments throughout Hamilton County, Indiana, WYPC is the resource for young professionals who live or work in Westfield to make meaningful connections. Through consistent programming, leadership, and service opportunities, members will ultimately become more community-oriented and connected, form meaningful, long-lasting relationships, and engage and contribute to the community they work in or call home.
The current Young Professionals logo being used is the green logo with two paper clips or chain links. The YPCI logo (blue) is used by the Young Professionals of Central Indiana (Indianapolis). The red star is a symbol of the City of Indianapolis (this logo looks like their flag). Our city does not have a recognizable symbol to try to incorporate, so you could try to incorporate something from the State of Indiana flag (just spitballing). There are seven (7) cities in Hamilton County, so perhaps our logo could feature seven stars with a larger one for Westfield or some other icon. I like the Chamber Young Professional logo and the Republican Party logo. These are just ideas. We want something fun that we can put on marketing materials, koozies, t-shits and other giveaway items.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $299.

And then… they selected a winner!
This was my first 99designs experience and i am extremely pleased with the process and professionalism Eka.gorby provided. Very willing to modify and try some additional concepts. The edits were done quickly and accurately. Great communication and service. I'm very happy with the final product. Highly recommended!!! I'll be returning for any future project. Thank you.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
