We really don’t have many creative or technical requirements. We certainly do not want to limit you creatively.
The underlying question I want you to ask yourself: Is the design REMARKABLE? Merriam-Webster defines remarkable as “worthy of being or likely to be noticed especially as being uncommon or extraordinary.” We are not Facebook, Twitter, AT&T or Cisco, yet. We need your help in establishing our own unique, visual brand identity.
One requirement is that “NeatSpeak” must be one word in the design; however, you are free to alter the capitalization, or use none at all. And we do need a logo that’s versatile, crisp, elegant and simple but also distinctive (“remarkable”). It should definitely convey Web 3.0 (or whatever you want to call it), the internet, technology, etc. If a “mascot” comes to mind, feel free to include it in the design, but it’s not a requirement or even a request; it’s just an option. Speaking towards versatility, obviously, we will have needs for icons, avatars, etc. that work with the logo’s color palette. In terms of technical requirements, we are open to suggestions, but vector format seems to the most universal and flexible.
