Music Festival Film Company needs a Sleek New Logo!

Topical Films

We provide DJs, Club Owners and Promotion agencies with Promotional Videos that we film at Music Festivals and Nightclubs;
we also shoot music videos and more.
Our target clients are a mixture of local business owners in the nightlife industry and DJs, Many of which are new to hiring a video team.
We are a film company but our inspiration comes from music and the energy of nightlife.

Please stay away from using exclusively neutral shades, we would like some colour in htere to stand out!

The logo is the first thing our clients notice when we hand out business cards, and when it appears at the start of a video, it should be interesting without being overly complex. Please stay away from a clip art look.

We are looking for a unique, modern, simple logo. We want the feeling you get when you see it for the first time to seem professional and approachable as lots of our clients are first time buyers in the industry and we'd hate to scare them off. An example of a "scary logo" is Giorgio Armani. The final Design should be a unique concept preferably not including cliche photography or film items such as a shutter, camera, film reel etc. however if well implemented will be accepted!
Too many film companies stay black and white, we would like to stick out, please feel free to experiment and add colours to your designs.
The take on topical is to be up to date, current and modern. feel free to use incorporate that like how CarrierFilms example used pixels.
A symbol would be a nice touch, even if it's as simple as an interesting looking shape. The logo should feel unified. We are a film company but we are inspired by music, most of our events pertain to the EDM genre.
We like Stylized text as well!
Polygon art is also a nice feature if it can be incorporated well.
Concept depth is appreciated. Horizontal logos preferred.
