A modern luxury lounge/bar/restaurant logo aimed towards the young Chinese audience

UU will be a bar/club/lounge/restaurant. Think luxury lounge meets restaurant in the early afternoon, and bar&club at night. The target audience is the young (18-30) mid/upper-class Chinese people.

For our logo, we're looking more for typography design or an illustration that demonstrates UU. The illustration can include other things/objects, so long as UU is a central shining element. An illustration including UU would be really cool, just make sure it's still SIMPLE, BOLD, ENERGETIC and modern (not kiddy). The slogan "By the Roof" is OPTIONAL (does not need to be included, the logo should work by itself either way). It's a lot of info, so thanks so much (: Can't wait to see your designs. UU will be the second version of our current restaurant Unico (hence Ux2). Our previous restaurant was definitely more formal luxury rather than young/fashionable. We hope to maintain the luxurious bar/lounge image while appealing to younger Chinese audiences (the social media generation). The name is already quite 'cute,' hence why the new logo should be SIMPLE, MODERN, LUXURY-orientated, BOLD and sophisticated (not kiddy). Simplicity with thoughtful small details is key to good design. Uploaded is our current logo for our old restaurant Unico, and our own concept of UU. We think it may be outdated so we're looking for new ideas that will attract youth with a taste for luxury/chill lounges. PLEASE do not make your designs based off of the upload. Only use it if it inspires you; don't use it if it constrains you. We want to see new ideas! The pro of having a connection is people will recognize us, but the con is we're not reinventing ourselves. You as the designer can decide, and make multiple if you hope to (definitely open to ideas). Also uploaded is a video of our new space (2nd floor, large floor plan, big windows) and some pictures of inspiration of what our bar/lounge may look like. We're currently using what the place has to offer and opening ASAP, while our 100% interior renovation and rebranding will take place next year. That's why our interior design may change, but our logo must be done well from the get go. The idea is that the logo should fit for being an afternoon lounge as well as a night chill/young bar lounge. The logo should be versatile and easy to be used in variety of decorations (e.g. good to use printed big, make into a physical sign, LED light, etc.).
