We sell high quality remodeling services to families in the Dallas area.
• They want to completely ignore the logo and branding they have now – they feel it’s too “old”. The industry is full of older men and is always 10-15 years behind. No cursive, no Tuscan style, fleur de lies , etc. • They want something that feels up to date – modern, sleek, progressive, cutting edge, crisp, clean. • They are not the cheapest, but they aren’t super high end. The best way I can describe it is that they charge more than their competitors, but they deliver a ton of extra value. They emphasize service, quality, integrity (they ripped out a deck railing 3 times and re-started rather than just trying to repair it). • They are selling a lifestyle – design something that makes you feel you’re in your dream home • Their customers feel good about moving forward with them – they feel like they will treat them right and have their back • Their customers WANT to pay for the experience (world class experience) – they said people can’t wait to get more money so they can bring them back to remodel another room or part of their home. • They are about perfection or as close to is as they can get. They sprinkle in a little fun, but fun isn’t the priority – perfection is. • They are precise about cleanliness, order and job perfection • They adapt to the customer’s style (if the customer jokes around, they joke around. If the customer is serious, they are serious) • Passion was the word one of them used to describe their business – the passion to deliver a quality product and the desire to treat the customer right • Customers can see that they go above and beyond and that excites them • When asked about colors, they talked about modern (black, white, gray). Blue was also mentioned, but after those first 3 colors. • They don’t want to illustrate themselves with hammers and tools in their logo – they feel like that’s what everyone else does in the industry • They are high end – “not wal mart” • Best in class/best in industry • Having talked about being the best, etc. for a while, they aren’t over the top and super high end. They do projects as low as $10,000 and work in homes valued at $300K – they just exceed expectations and deliver service at a high level
