Foundry Spatial Ltd.
This is a new company providing subsurface utility engineering and geographic information system services. We locate and create a map-based database of the locations of underground utilities such as water, gas, sewer, telecom and fibre-optic. Clients are then provided with this information to incorporate into their design documents. We also provide mapping and spatial analysis services to clients in the oil and gas exploration and production industry.
Our services are used by engineering and construction firms, government agencies and major oil and gas companies. Logo will be used on website, maps, stationary and vehicle doors.
We chose the name Foundry Spatial as we like the idea of creating high quality, long lasting products for our customers, similar to iron works created in a real foundry. Spatial refers to the GIS and mapping components of our business which relates to where things are located.
We need a logo that represents our values of accuracy, efficiency, reliability and integrity.
- Logo may or may not include a separate icon. Type must include “Foundry Spatial”. It is ok if "Foundry" is more prominent though. “Ltd.” is optional. If you want to throw in a byline as well we are open to that but don’t have any text in mind.
- Two versions of the logo if possible – horizontally and vertically oriented.
- Yellow, orange, brown and earth tones are preferable to blue/green. Ability to use in monochrome would be nice.
- Our business has two distinct markets – architecture, engineering and construction, and oil and gas exploration and development – so the logo should not be too specific to either industry.
Deliverables are:
Adobe Illustrator (CMYK)
Web – Layered PSD
We will be checking in on the contest multiple times each day and providing feedback on submitted designs. Please contact with any questions or if you would like more information. Really looking forward to seeing what is submitted!
